New from Dixie Belle Paint Company! An ALL-IN-ONE Mineral paint that is acrylic-resin based (THIS IS NOT A CHALK-STYLE PAINT, expect a thinner consistency). It has a built in stain-blocking primer and a built in topcoat. It offers UV Protection and has water-resistant, mildew-resistant and grease-resistant properties.

To get the best results, you will still need to do some prep work!
It has been recommended that you begin by cleaning with White Lightning cleaning product. Rinse well to remove cleaning product residue. You do not need to sand prior to application.

For best results, it is recommended to use a dry brush with this paint. It also can be sprayed with minimal to no dilution needed. Don't forget to stir before starting!

Silk is self-leveling and cures over a 30 day period.

Although there is a topcoat built-in, some heavily used items like table tops and kitchen cabinets may require an additional topcoat. This product does have a matte appearance but not a chalky appearance like chalk paint.
